C.J. Johnson
While your guests will star in this hilarious show, there will be no doubt that
they are being taken care of by a master showman and skilled hypnotist. The
experience that only hundreds of shows can give has made C.J. Johnson one of the
most sought after hypnotic entertainers in the US today. He's performed
professionally in 45 states, on numerous television networks, including
Showtime, CBS, Fox and CMT. He's even been voted as "Hypnotist of the Year" by
the college market. He's even toured extensively with major recording artists
including Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley, Aaron Lines, Jeff Bates and Brooks &
Dunn.
C.J. was trained at the Dakota Hypnosis Institute by one of the countries
leading hypnotic trainers... but that was only the beginning. He has since
performed over 1000 shows for audiences ranging in size from 50 up to over
20,000 as a featured act during the 2003 Brooks & Dunn Neon Circus Tour. No
matter what size your group, C.J's probably done it before!
C.J.'s formal education was at Texas A&M University where he majored in
Construction Management. However, it was his weekend job of performing magic
that got him really excited and he never went to work in the construction field.
He also never looked back. His roots in juggling, magic, unicyclingand
performing on the streets made him a master of showmanship that knows just how
to pace a show for maximum entertainment. And MAXIMUM ENTERTAINMENT is just what
you'll get. The phrase "the difference is in the details" is very true, and
you'll notice those differences from the moment C.J. takes the stage. Using
remote, computerized controls, CJ uses almost 40 pieces of music in every show.
Even the non-musical routines have appropriate background sounds giving the show
a feeling of production that very few (if any) hypnotists offer.
In addition to his hilarious comedy shows, C.J. also has a lecture/keynote
program called "The Power of Suggestion" that he presents to corporate groups
and on college campuses. It's an entertaining look at the messages we give to
ourselves on a daily basis and techniques on how to make sure those messages are
empowering.
